Taking in the dead space
The original bathroom was tiny and tucked way back, with weird extra space in the primary bedroom. That whole area became part of the new bathroom.
Roll-in shower, sloped floor
The shower is a true roll-in, and the main floor slopes slightly toward it — in case someone wants to do cannonballs in the tub.
A vanity that converts
Greg built a custom modular vanity: the doors come off and the bottom slides out, leaving room for a wheelchair.
One tile, everywhere
48″×48″ tile on the floor, with the same tile used on the tub deck and the vanity top.
